PS

Life is hectic and you know it!

I've got so many things up my sleeve that I don't know where to even start! Hopefully, after club's meeting this week I would have a tit bit less workload.

Currently working on my personal statement, although I've got the general structure drafted out but it lacks a certain wow factor. Hmm..

There's probably more than thousands of students applying for the mechanical engineering course, but why on earth should I stand out? Out of those thousands, I suppose hundreds and hundreds then would have acquired AL results similar to mine or even much better. Hence, putting results aside.
Seriously, why should the university pick me?

I've been pondering over this question for quite some time with no answers. Frankly, I have no outstanding achievements in both academic and extracurricular activities. Although I do show keen interest in subjects and current affairs relevant to MEng, I don't have any particular ambitious engineering dreams I would like to accomplish in the future. One of my friends wrote that he wants to build an Iron Man.. Another started off his ps with Legos. At first, they appear slightly like a nutter to me, but after giving it a second thought.. These ps might be the special ones that might appeal to the people who read the ps.

Okay, I'll stop with the negative ranting and actually give myself some positive motivation.

I am completely committed to the MEng course I have chosen. I am intelligent, hardworking, determined, quick-witted, responsible, versatile and adaptive. I have strong leadership skills, team working skills, great logical thinking skills and communication skills. I thrive on challenges, brilliant with problem solving and have a good sense on time management. All in all, I'm a complete package.
Any university must be crazy not to extend me an offer. Period.

p.s. to anyone who is applying for any university who happens to stumble upon my blog. I wish you, good luck.

p.p.s I officially declare a endless hiatus until further notice.
