It wakes me up on a typical weekday in coll's library, ahahah :P
ppl keep comparing them to Exo because the almost same debut time. But in my opinion, these 2 are not even comparable pls. =_= i've just watched Exo's performance on Music Bank.. *speechless* *shakes head* *face palm*

Anyways, this might probably be my last post until JULY. yes, you've seen it right.

This was really spontaneous. These days i'm really surprised by my own spontaneity. o____o

I used to just doodle around. A person's face or some silly cartoons.

And even so, most of them i got inspiration from some other artwork.

Its like you look at some artwork/cartoon, then whilst in a boring class you start doodling on your textbook , something LIKE it. not 100% your own, I was always better in immitation then creating something of my own.

Its like i see anime, i try to copy it really hard, but its just not right. I cant freely take up a pencil and sketch a character. Plus, its always with just ONE look, ONE posture. its terrible, unless i having something to refer exactly beside me of course. 

BUT IT DOESN'T FEEL RIGHT.

its just not my style.

you cant draw something that doesn't come right out from yourself.

it doesn't have to be deemed splendid by general opinions.

You don't have to get recognition from others anyways, i mean if you don't aspire to be an artist. haha

So stop drawing simple pretty flower, cute monsters that you got influenced from others.

Sit down, get inspiration from something NOT visual. and let your mind have a twist about it. (:

while i was studying organic chem.

I found a new song! :P new artist actually.

Nowadays, i just go to mp3boo.com and mp3crank.com to see what seems to suit my style. i search those songs on youtube, and if i find them nice i download the album. :D

You never know what kind of treasure you'll find there. :P

If you only rely on radios, playing all those hit songs(which are normally too commercialised and not much of my taste) you'll never know how many more great songs awaits you in the corner, seemingly unknown for the time being.

If you like artist like Lana Del Rey.. you might like her too.

But she has a more exquisite tone of voice.

All of a sudden, a picture sort of just flashed across my mind. 

I was like, this songs is a marvelous inspiration for a new artwork. :D

Actually this isn't exactly what i initially had in my mind, the one in my mind had colours and more intricate.

But i've decided thats too troublesome, and after all i really don't have much time. (i still have my conscience.. haha)

This rendition of the song might be more apparent to you guys. At first i wanted to draw something more haunting and ghastly haha, but nah, not my style. :P later you guys think of Chucky. XD

I seem to brush up my drawing skills JUST WHEN exam's coming.

I think its sort of a way for me to relieve stress. 

Drawing things momentarily keeps my mind away from this realistic life i live in.

Its a mental getaway.

I draw according to my mood, but in this case, the song's mood. :D

I seem to listen to korean songs less nowadays.

I still have a handful of korean songs in my mp3 tho, they still are the majority.

But i seek more sophisticated songs.
songs with lyrics i don't understand probably allow my mind to think less.

But at times, i wanna listen to something that i DO understand.  

Moreover, i've probably been into korean songs for approximately 3-4 years now, its only natural that i start changing my music preference.

But i still don't have a particular genre i listen to... and i like it that way. :D

Indie, pop, rock.. ANYTHING that appeals to my ears. (: haha

Actually i didn't initially prepared this, it happened when wenn said she didn't receive love letter. hahaha

took a foolscap paper which was lying around. 

picked up my g-soft black pen and i started drawing! :D

i didn't even go through the pencil part. haha

took me less than an hour i suppose. the colours look more vibrant in real life.

i lazy photoshop. haha.

it turns out less crude that i thought it would be. hah my skillssssss :p

oh and because wenn was so busy with her intern, me with my classes so we couldn't meet up on her bday.

a math test, a math competition, club's paper works and crazy amount of studying to do this week. :O

haha, but screw those, its my bro's bday, have to do smth decent. haha :p

decided to go with a 3D block font.
i figure out the ones in wenn's is too cute and girlish for guys. haha

the 'XXI-instead-of-21' inspiration came from final fantasy. :D
and the 'fire' came from the idea of dragonnnn( since he's loong )
but i realise dragon its way too complicated and it might create an unbalance visual in the drawing.
i trusted my instinct, and went with flames instead.

i just felt like sometimes if i make a vow on blog instead of my diary...
i tend to keep and carry it out better.

=_= well, who could i blame except myself.
my class genius got full marks for this paper, and which is the source of the huge disappointment towards myself.

i feel so dumb. =_=
CONSIDER THE AMOUNT OF EFFORT I PUT IN.
even my Chem 2 sucks. its such borderline results again, i swear i studied chem 2 like gaga alrd.
maybe not as much as others.. sigh
i suppose if i didn't, i wouldn't have even gotten an A. =_=

maybe the effort i put in was as light as a feather relative to other frens.
i blame myself for being too confident.
and slacking too much during the holiday.
cant believe i'm indeed regretting right now when i vowed before exam not to. =_=

this was totally a spontaneous thing to do.
so happens i'm home alone and i lazy to go dapao lunch. #foreverlazy
and i've sorta got bored of Zhap Fan. =.= i don wanna eat that even on weekends. :p

HENCE, i simply just on my computer and searched for pancakes recipe! :D
why pancake? honestly, i don't know. must have been the youtube pancakes videos i watched. :P

and found this particular recipe with lotsof good reviews and ratings.
so... VOILA. :D

there's many types of pancakes.

this one is thick and FLUFFY.

mygawd i dono if you can see from the pics, but its damn freakin FLUFFY.

imma never go Paddington House of Pancakes anymore. =_=

its slightly sweet due to the 1 tbsp of sugar.

so best paired with honey, jam, chocolate etc.

i did spread jam and chocolate on them, but don't have pictures of it. :p

so actually i've got nothing in particular to blog about.

damn sad tonight. disheartened. demotivated.

browsing through universities.. and all i see is $$$$$$$

I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHICH ENGINEERING COURSE TO STUDY.

first i thought of chemical. then aeronautics. then now i realise aeronautics is based on mechanical and electrical anyways. =_=

mom bought me a hand mixer that day. wheeeeeeeeeeee~
now i no need use a whisker anymore. sometimes my hand really get sore after baking.

after the Prosperity Cupcakes failure, this was definitely a boost of confidence. :D

with my college mates so willingly to help me clear up my creations, i can experiment with all sort of recipe without worrying about the aftermath.

everyone loved this cupcake! :D i feel so contented just by looking at them savouring up.

AT FIRST, this was a total failure. since it was the first time attempting such pastries.

i fumbled around. i don't know how exactly it was supposed to be.

i took them out of the oven before the lemon filling has yet to set. so it was gooey and all.

for i messed up the proportion and ratio since i have a different size pan.

i was slightly disheartened.

but instinct told me it wasn't suppose to be like that, so i put it back into the oven again. xD

then they turned out okay. not AWESOME. but okay. (:

despite of all the chaos, my coll mates still find them decent. :')

altho when some of them cringed, whether due to the sourness of the squares or due to they didn't like the squares. LOL. i don't know. 

but it dimmed my spirits, and i vow to make better ones next time. (:

thinking bout making Whoopie Pies next time. :DDDD

or maybe making the all time favourite Jam Drops just to satisfy their taste buds. x)

Hope life has been great for all of you here. 

after this month i doubt i have time or mood to bake.

so me and coll mates went main block for pizza hut.

haha. we ordered the heart shaped pizza. LOL

4 girls. heart shape pizza. together alone. haha

we ended up being late for stats class. *poker face*

the bill was quite okay actually. we ordered meat balls too since its on half price.

total sum we paid RM10.20 per person.

i celebrated valentine's day already actually. LOL

we went 1u, we din't take pics actually o.o

we just ate a lot of awesome stuff! (Y)

we ate lunch at Watami Casual japanese restaurant.
this katsu( chicken ) is absolutely fantastic.

and the beef rice plus free flow green tea! (Y)

sums up to only rm21 per person. and boy were the portion big.
and most importantly, spoon-licking good! :D

ate ice creams, juice works..

AND OH

we bought a rm7.50 shirt from Cotton On. oh i don't have a pic of it right now.
wore it to college the other day.

DAMN AWESOME PLEASE. WE TOT ITS RM15 AND CONSIDER QUITE CHEAP DY.
go cashier only know further 50% reduction.

we were ecstatic.

I'm quite happy to return college actually. 

but it seems like my brain has yet not get accustom to the sit-in-class-listen-understand-lectures situation.

first day of coll i actually felt tired after 4 hour classes. ):

oh and i get bored easily, especially in statistics class.

when lecturer gave us tough questions, i was so lazy that i refuse to solve. =.=

so my present class is superb big. =.= which i totally distaste.

1. Countdown at Taipei 101

i mean, after years and yearsss of watching taipei countdown on tv. 

for the first time, i'm actually there watching it with my own eyes!

the fireworks was right in front of me! :O

... but to be honest.. it wasn't that spectacular. :p

and the crowd was.. horrrible.

i assure you that you won't fall.

because there's no space for you to do so. ==

you might suffocate within the crowd and you still won't have a glimpse of the stage. :O

yes, its that terrible. D; 

but oh well, at least i was there! HAHA ^^

2. Went NS 

This i undoubtedly the most notable event of the year.

i mean, after going through all those.. worries and chaos..

3. Got my FIRST job

being once a student there, going back there to work.. was a strange sensation.

like dejavoo. xD

but if i'm paid, i'm not complaining.

what more, i'm being paid to study?!?! LOLL

that's like every student's dream. :D

after like 16 sets of Add Math States Papers, i'm pretty sure i can close my eyes and do add math.. literally.

but the admin part of the job was sorta boring..

receiving phone calls at first was thrilling.. but after a while you just felt like yelling at those parents. LOL

parents can get pretty annoying. o___o

and facing the computer typing 24/7 makes your eyes sore.

ever see this many sweets in your life? ;p

4 years there gave me sweet-phobia. D; (especially fruit plus)

and i ♥ getting ma pay and the end of the day! :p

*on the side note, TEACHER'S MARRIED. :D

his fiance is very pretty, but i pity her for having such a workaholic husband. ==

4. Braces on.

i know i know, its what you guys've been waiting for all these years isn't it. LOL

almost every single person would ask me,

5. Turned 18.

I'm FINALLY LEGAL.

spent my bday shopping with Lam and Wenn.

6. Went orphanage. 

and yes its the first time i've been to an orphanage. LOL.

7. Entered college

i know i'm probably one of the latest. july intake. while others are preparing for finals, i'm.. just starting the journey. :D

BUT IT WAS AWESOME. after being a total bummer for the past few months.

being able to go school again was thrilling!

Coll days are fun. altho its basically still studying, but with a tinge of craziness.

went KLCC like a bunch of kindergartens and tourist. LOL

no more toopid useless subjects. me is loving it! :D

altho exams are plain torture all the same, with a higher level of difficulity, not to mention it ruined all my holidays. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

8. Got behind the wheels



that's a bad thing for the others tho. D;
srsly, my driving skills sucks. i'm still having mom giving me weekend lessons right now. o__o
and gosh is she terrified. LOL. =X
